Open House & Ribbon Cutting

We had a wonderful turnout at our Ribbon Cutting and Open House in June. Thank you to everyone who came out to join us on this joyous occasion! We’re delighted be a part of the vibrant Pinehills community and to provide comprehensive skin care to patients in Plymouth and beyond!

Special thanks to the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce's Amy Naples, Executive Director and Scott Hokanson, President.

Our state-of-the-art Pinehills office is our second location offering services that include medical dermatology, skin cancer treatments, Mohs surgery, aesthetic services and clinical research. Our new space features a relaxing water fountain in an expansive waiting room, five exam rooms, a laboratory and more. Next day appointments are available at our Pinehills location and there is plenty of dedicated parking next to the office.

Summer Skin Irritation

Is it heat rash or a skin allergy? Skin irritation often increases in the summer months.

Identifying and Treating Contact Dermatitis

Contact dermatitis is an allergic skin reaction that produces a red, flaky, itchy rash after contact with a substance, material, or allergen.

In the summer months, more people are apt to come into contact with plants such as poison ivy, oak and sumac, which cause an itchy rash. Harsh chemicals or known triggers in lotions, soaps and detergents are among some of the other causes of contact dermatitis.

Click the link below to read more about the causes and symptoms of contact dermatitis. Unsure about a rash? Our board-certified dermatologists can determine the cause of the breakout and recommend an appropriate therapy to prevent future flare-ups.
